  • Channel 42

"Channel 42", now available on iTunes, reunites deadmau5 with his "Animal Rights" partner-in-crime Wolfgang Gartner. It's a true treat as "Animal Rights" remains a live staple and favorite. Still, these two tap into something magical once again.

Flipping to "Channel 42" - one of the most popular tracks from deadmau5's GRAMMY-nominated album > album title goes here < - eerie keyboards blaze through an all-encompassing swell, making for another dance floor banger that's as undeniable as it is unpredictable.

The release bundle features big dance floor remixes from Miami's GTA, Scotland's Nom De Strip and deadmau5's fellow Canadian Eekkoo. Download the full package on iTunes here.

deadmau5 recently joined forces with Nokia for a spectacular light and music experience. Exactly a year after they created the biggest light show London had ever seen - a 4D projection that covered Millbank Tower - the mobile giant transformed an entire London square into an immersive audio-visual show starring deadmau5. From that came a video using "Channel 42" as the musical accompaniment.

The track came about after Jon Gooch, AKA Feed Me and the multi-national Basque influenced 5-piece Crystal Fighters met whilst on the Parklife festival tour in Australia late 2011. After a few nights out together, they decided to get in the studio on their return to London, and thus Love Is All I Got was born. This will be the first single from Feed Me's as yet untitled debut full length album which is due early 2013. Crystal Fighters are currently recording their second album, which is due for release in Spring 2013.

Love is All I Got received its first spin on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show as his 'hottest record in the world'. Within 48 hours the song had had 140k plays on youtube and was number 1 on hype machine.

First single 'Professional Griefers' sees deadmau5 team up with My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way for a rousing stadium-size anthem fueled by propulsive production and a skittering hook. Think Queen siphoned through an underground rave, and you're only halfway there. Then, there's a hypnotic homage to Ray Bradbury on the shimmering eight minute-plus dreamscape 'The Veldt' featuring Chris James. 'Take Care of the Proper Paperwork' guts a gritty guitar track into a haunting dance movement, while 'Failbait' yields cybernetic rap with Cypress Hill terminating their verses on sight. Everything culminates on the ethereal bliss of 'Telecommunications', a collaboration with one of the world's most intriguing voices, Imogen Heap.
