Directed by Tishaun Dawson, the three-part film spans three locations chosen for their importance as romantic cities: Venice - Italy, Paris - France and London - England. After 11 solo projects the conceptual, evocative film is a departure for Bailey, "I wanted to do something outside of the mold of the traditional broadcast music video. No lip-synching. No dialogue. Just strong visuals attached to my music." Sherina Manning stars alongside Bailey—two silent acquaintances reflecting on the many facets of love, loss and discovery.
“Love is Real”, is Bailey’s first solo project in eight years. The EP has been a passion project for Bailey, featuring five new original tracks that showcase his remarkable falsetto and multiple-octave vocal range. Lyrically, he addresses the complexities of relationships. “Relationships are so complicated, and anything but perfect,” Bailey says, “just because you are having difficulty in a relationship doesn’t mean the love you feel in a relationship is not necessarily real.
