Eddie Shit was the main support act for The Macc Lads at most of their UK gigs between 1988 - 1992. He used to come on-stage in a pink fur coat and leotard with waxed back hair and a painted on handlebar moustache. During his act he would "come" over the audience with his cardboard cut-out guitar in the shape of a cock n balls with a bottle of water strapped to the back. Eddo's tart Elsie Bagshit appeared on stage during 1991, dueting on songs "It's In His Piss", "Summer Shites" and "Girls Just Wanna Suck Come". Eddo's "brother" Arthur Shit also sung on occasion as did the Reverand Warrington Minge. All his songs are all covers of famous rock and roll classics, except some skits from the first album. His first defecation, in 1989, was entitled "Complete Shit", and his second l.p. the following year was called "Utter Shite" and featured a crapping band that included Muttley from the Macc Lads and Ian McNabb from The Icicle Works. Eddo then defecated "Complete Shit - The Movie" which was recorded at The Royal Court, Liverpool on the 28/10/89 (same gig as the Macc Lads recorded Quality Of Mersey). Later in 1990 a constipation CD was released called "Complete & Utter Shit" which was basically highlights from the first 2 albums with the skits and some songs missing. Eddo also has pongs on 2 Macc Lads EP's: "and Drinking Partners" featured "Twenty Four Hours" & "Eye Of The Needle" and "Bog 'N' Roll Circus" featured "Shitstabber" & "Teet Pippett". He also appeared on the Macc Lads - The Beer Necessities LP. ..You can buy the CDs & DVDs from here. If you bought bootleg copies from www.eddieshit.com then you were ripped off!.... At the turd of the century (February 2000 to be precise) Eddo got out the cock-shaped guitar one more time to support Ian McNabb at the Lomax in Liverpool. Some new material may yet see the shite of day. One track was rumoured to be a cover of "Britney Spear's - Hit Me Baby One More Time" re-titled "Fist Me Baby From Behind", and another entitled "Smells Like Eddie's Shit" - a parody of the Nirvana classic. ..Eddo's act returded in 2008 with a gig at the Cavern Club in Liverpool on 28th May and he headlined the 'Bizarre Bazaar' stage at the Rebellion Festival in Blackpool the same year.
