                                                                                                                         GOODMORNING / PSYKOTIC KENESIS- split 7”                                                                   Psykotic Kinesis has an anarchist crust leaning, but is not your run-of-the-mill crust band.  The bass seems to be the main instrument that is prominent on a lot of the tracks.  They also throw in some violin.  The main vocals are female yells.  It took a few listens for me to get into their tracks but I did.  GoodMorning has, for a lack of a better to put it, a refreshing sound.  It’s a nice combination of 80’s West Coast hardcore, keyboards and some vague anarchist metal.  Yeah, read that one again-the sound is unique.  There are three vocal styles often going on at the same time, an understandable 80’s hardcore bark, death metal growls, and scary troll-like black metal vocals.  Keyboards are prominent but in a dark, black metal sort of way.  I haven’t heard anything like this and I think they pull it off.
