    Chapter 1: Originally a guitar based trio from Formby, Liverpool after Paul (lead guitar) taught Alex to play bass and Ell to play guitar. At their first gig, which was interesting, they met their future drummer, Luke Deever. The name "The Purple Soles" came from when bassist Alex bought a new pair of sneakers with purple soles which Ell noticed and inspired the name. Since then we've had a handful of little gigs and have been writing and playing our own stuff. We've now completed our first demo which was recorded at Vulcan Street Studios in Liverpool and hope to be getting more gigs in the near future. Nice one. Chapter 2:
