Rihanna and Ciara engaged in a Twitter feud last week, but the pair has now made up. The beef began when Ciara appeared on E!’s Fashion Police with Joan Rivers, where she dissed Ri Ri. Ciara told Rivers, “I ran into [Rihanna] recently at a party. She wasn’t the nicest. It’s crazy, because I’ve always loved and respected what she’s done in fashion. It wasn’t the most pleasant run-in.”

Ouch. Rihanna, of course, took to Twitter to defend herself, writing, “My bad, Ci, did I forget to tip you?”

Ciara replied, “Trust me, Rihanna, you don’t want to see me on or off the stage.”

“Good luck with booking that stage you speak of,” Rihanna responded, adding “U gangsta huh? Haaa.”

Point, Rihanna. Ciara didn’t have much to say back, except “Pure comedy…” so Rihanna recanted and apologized for taking Ciara down. Rihanna posted, “Ciara baby, I love you girl! You hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s why I retaliated this way! So sorry!” Ciara accepted the apology, saying, “Rhi u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. you threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let’s chat in person.”

What’s the lesson here? Twitter is not a good place to discuss our issues with one another! Next time try a phone call. And take note, Lil Kim. Those apologies aren’t actually so tricky to hand out.
